Crews address 'sinkhole in the making' in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Crews with the Florida Department of Transportation were in Sanford on Friday, investigating what has been referred to as a "sinkhole in the making."

A area of loose soil was found under a stretch of U.S. Highways 17/92, causing some settlement in the pavement.  To address the issue, FDOT employed a grout injection, where liquid concrete is pumped below the surface.  There were lane restrictions along southbound lanes near County Home Rd.
