Carjacking suspects killed after crashing stolen vehicle into tree
PORT ORANGE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Two carjacking suspects were killed in a Port Orange crash.
A carjacking took place in Daytona Beach. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in trying to catch the suspects and ultimately, this stolen vehicle was found on City Center Drive in Port Orange. The suspects crashed the vehicle into a tree with such speed and force that it split the car in half. It is still unclear how the suspects lost control of the car.
Police say that the two suspects were still inside the vehicle when found. Both were taken to the Halifax Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The case is currently being handled by the Port Orange Police Department and traffic homicide investigators. An autopsy is pending.
The identities of the suspects has not yet been released.
