WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A Seminole County bus monitor suffered from serious injuries after being hit by a school bus on Monday morning.
Seminole County Public Schools says that around 6 a.m. on Monday morning, a bus monitor was walking in an open area when she was hit by a school bus in the refueling area.
The bus monitor was taken to Central Florida Regional in serious condition. She is undergoing surgery, but should be okay, the Seminole County Public Schools stated.
The bus driver responsible has reportedly been pulled from duty and will undergo a mandatory drug test.
Winter Springs Police Department is investigating.
