Bomb plot suspect to appear in federal court

JACKSONVILLE - A Florida man accused in a bomb plot against a Sept. 11 memorial event in Missouri is expected in federal court in Jacksonville this afternoon.

Police say 20-year-old Joshua Goldberg planned to set off a pressure cooker bomb at the event in Kansas City last week.

Goldberg has been in FBI custody since last Thursday when he was arrested at his family's home near Jacksonville.

He could ask a judge for bond.
