Authorities searching for missing Altamonte Springs woman
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - UPDATE: Tina Powell has been located safely and is in good health.
Police in Altamonte Springs are trying to find 52-year-old Tina Powell, who has been missing since February 13 from a neighborhood off Bambi Avenue.
"I saw her about three to four days ago walking down our street," explained neighbor Cheryl Kilgore. "She was walking in a hurry is how I'd describe it."
Investigators said Powell was seen heading to Walmart in a gray Nissan Sentra, with an unknown South Carolina paper tag. It's not known if she ever made it there. Neighbors said they've never seen her drive only walk. Neighbor Rhonda Gallant said the woman kept to herself, but was friendly.
"She seemed really nice," she said, wondering what has happened to her. "Almost a week ago, that I'd see her. She looked like homeless. and I didn't know she lived in the neighborhood."
Kilgore added, "It is very disturbing I hope they locate her. All I can do is hope and pray the best for her and that she's safe somewhere."
