The Drug Enforcement Administration in Atlanta has busted a meth delivery from Mexico that was hidden inside a shipment of wax Disney figurines.

DEA Atlanta Special Agent in Charge Robert Murphy said each figurine of Donald Duck, Pluto and other characters held approximately a pound of crystalized iced methamphetamine, the purest form of meth.

And each pound was destined for the streets of Atlanta, authorities said.

Officials said the shipment contained legitimate figurines made out of ceramic, which the smugglers took advantage of to create their own versions.

"This is a family-based theme, a Disney theme, but there's nothing good about what this would do to any family if this hit the street," Murphy said.

The shipment is estimated to be worth $2 million wholesale.
