Air conditioning issues heat up Brevard County classrooms
BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A problem is literally heating up schools in Brevard County. The Teacher's Union says that more than 30 schools are having air conditioning issues.
At one school, they say the thermostat hit 104 degrees inside a portable classroom. The Teacher's Union wants answers.
In an email, the district blamed power outages and equipment failures. Officials say this is not a systemic problem and fixing the A/C is a top priority.
