4-alarm fire breaks out at Baltimore warehouse

Firefighters battled a four-alarm warehouse fire in south Baltimore on Monday. The fire was burning at a building on Patapsco Avenue, but smoke could be seen from as far away as Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

Officials said the fire broke out at about 7 a.m. and the Baltimore Firefighters Union IAFF Local 734 tweeted photos from the scene, showing thick smoke billowing.

The Baltimore Fire Department tweeted that there were no reported injuries at this time. It was not immediately clear what the warehouse contained or what caused the fire.
