3 arrested after kidnapping woman for money
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Three people were arrested in Osceola County on Sunday after kidnapping a woman for money.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office reported that on Sunday, deputies were contacted by Felix Alexis Davila-Rodriguez. He told deputies that his girlfriend was kidnapped by subjects that he borrowed money from. He was reportedly receiving frantic phone calls from the victim. She would tell him that she was taken by force and without permission.
Deputies said that a short time later, Davila-Rodriguez received a phone call from a male subject telling him to pay the money or his girlfriend would be hurt. He instructed Davila-Rodriguez to bring the money and meet him at a specific location. He also said that he better not call law enforcement.
Osceola County reportedly responded to the area in an attempt to locate the victim and suspects. The victim was released and recovered by detectives shortly after responding. The suspects were also identified and arrested at the Magnuson Hotel on West Irlo Bronson Highway.
The suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Jafet Andrillon, 40-year-old Carlon Andrillon Torres, and 18-year-old Vega-Lopez. All three suspects were charged with Kidnapping, Battery and False Imprisonment.
