3 arrested after carjacking pizza delivery driver

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. (FOX 35 Orlando) - Three suspects are in custody after they carjacked a pizza delivery driver in Orange County and led deputies on a chase Thursday night.

According to the Orange County Sheriffs Office, around 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to an armed carjacking call in the 7400 block of W. Colonial Dr. The victim, a pizza delivery person, said that he had  just been carjacked at gunpoint by three suspects. He was not injured. 

Deputies began to chase the stolen car on State Road 429, and a felony stop was conducted on the carjacked vehicle. All three suspects were apprehended without incident on SR 429 near Schofield Road.

The Southbound ramp onto SR 429 at Schofield road remained blocked off as of 11 PM Thursday evening.

Deputies have not released information about the identities of the suspects yet, as the investigation is ongoing.
