24 units unlivable after Lakeland apartment complex fire
LAKELAND, Fla. (FOX 13) - A 24-unit apartment building in Lakeland is uninhabitable after a fire Monday night, according to Lakeland Fire Rescue.
The fire started around 5:30 p.m. at the Arbor Glen apartments in North Lakeland.
It was contained before 9. Crews said it appeared the fire started in the attic.
Lakeland Fire Rescue said everyone who lived in the building had been accounted for, but there may have been some pets inside.
Crews were going door to door to look for animals.
