1 dead, 3 in critical condition after car crashed into tree

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Orlando Police Department says that at about 2:29 a.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a single crash on Bent Pine Drive.

They say the crash involved a single car that crashed into a tree on the right (south) shoulder. There were four adults in the car. One of the four was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other three were transported to an area hospital in critical condition. 

OPD Traffic Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene. 

The 5800 - 5900 block of Bent Pine Drive is closed in both directions, but is expected to re-open before 8 a.m.
