Orlando AM Weather Forecast: More storms Sunday, temps a touch cooler

Finally, our temperatures are looking a little "cooler" across Central Florida! Meteorologist T.J. Springer says highs will be close to average Sunday but we'll see more storms. Tune in for the timeline and to see when rain chances increase again.

There are multiple waves that we're watching in the Atlantic Basin, including one that will move off the coast of West Africa early this week.

CHANCE FOR DEVELOPMENT

The NHC has outlined an area in the Atlantic near Bermuda for potential tropical development. There’s a 30% chance of development within the next seven days. The system is set to stay fairly disorganized, and we will continue to keep eyes on it.

Another system off the coast of Spain and Portugal also has a 10% chance of development over the next seven days.

This will bring rain in gusty winds to those countries. A new area of interest has now been outlooked across the main development region, with a 50% chance of development over the next week. This wave looks to come off the coast of West Africa on Monday.

This disturbance looks to have a better chance of organizing, which is something we'll be watching.

ANY IMPACTS TO FLORIDA

The waves in the Northern and Western Atlantic will not have any impact on the U.S. but we'll have to watch the developing wave in the Main Development Region. Over the next 7–10 days, it will likely work WNW toward the Caribbean.

That's when data suggests that the strong ridge in the Atlantic will help steer this away from the East Coast.

This storm hasn't even developed yet, and there's still room for some changes to happen. Be sure you keep checking with the Storm Team for the latest. The next name on the list is Dolly.
