Orlando weather: Freezing temperatures set to arrive this evening: How cold will it get?
ORLANDO, Fla. - Locals may see a stray sprinkle later on this evening, but overall skies will be clearing out as some cooler air taps into the region.
The weather will remain clear and cool once again through the overnight.
Once the sun goes down this evening, temperatures will drop very quickly.
Some cold weather alerts are issued for tonight in Marion, Flagler, Volusia, Gilchrist and Putnam counties. Temperatures in these areas will be near freezing.
The rest of the region will see temperatures in the 40s.
ROUNDING OUT THE WEEKEND
It's Disney marathon weekend!
For Sunday, it will be cold to start, but mainly clear. Expect temperatures to stay in the low 40s for most of the race.
Sunny skies are on tap with temperatures warming up a few degrees tomorrow, with highs in the mid 60s.
START OF THE WORK WEEK
Another cold front pushes through on Monday, bringing the chance of showers and mostly cloudy skies. Showers will linger through Tuesday morning.
The cool air really settles in Tuesday through Thursday, bringing our highs back down into the low 60s and upper 50s.
Overnight lows mid next week will be in the low 40s and upper 30s.
Luckily, lots of sunshine. So, hopefully those cool temperatures will feel a little warmer.
