College football fans camp out for the Citrus Bowl at Orlando's Camping World Stadium

Dozens of fans camped out at Camping World Stadium for Citrus Bowl 2019.

Fanfest begins at 9 a.m. and kick-off for the bowl game between Penn State University and the University of Kentucky is at 1 p.m.

Fans can pay to park in several parking lots in downtown Orlando starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Beginning at 8 a.m. the City of Orlando is offering a free shuttle service from the Amway Center and Geico parking garage to the stadium. The shuttle will run until one hour after the game.

People using rideshare will be picked up and dropped off at the Jones High School administration parking lot between 3 p.m.-7p.m.

Officials are asking people to arrive at the stadium 15 minutes earlier than they normally would in order to go through security. A new security policy requires security officers to check people with magnetic wands.

Florida Citrus Sports CEO Steve Hogan is also reminding people about the clear bag policy at the stadium. “Anything larger than your hand that can fit in the palm of your hand needs to be in a bag. Other than that, if it’s a clutch that fits in your hand you can come through the stadium gates with that. There will be some lockers on site.”
