UCF police investigate suspicious incident

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The UCF Police Department is alerting students of a suspicious on-campus incident which happened around 5: 30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Authorities said a female student told officers that she was inappropriately grabbed by a man inside the Business Administration I Building, near some vending machines.  She said the man had been lingering and engaged her in conversation, before he touched her. The woman ran from the building and reported the incident to UCFPD about an hour later.

The man is described as dark-skinned, with a thin build, standing roughly 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He is said to have been wearing a gray hoodie and jeans at the time of the alleged incident. 

UCFPD is asking students, faculty and staff to remain vigilant. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 407-823-5555, or 911, in an emergency.
