UCF football player shot at King Tut's Lounge, deputies say

UCF Redshirt freshman Chris Williams is recovering in an Orlando hospital after being shot twice in the arm early Saturday morning. According to deputies, Williams was involved in an altercation at King Tut's Lounge and was shot. His injuries are not life-threatening. The suspect in the shooting is at large.
Williams spent last season as a defensive back on the scout team and dressed for one regular season game.
Knights Head Coach George O'Leary is aware of the situation, and has spoken to Williams and his mother by phone.
