Titusville man and officers exchange gunfire
TITUSVILLE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Titusville police say they responded to a man with a gun at the apartments on Mayfair Way at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday.
The investigation done shows that officers briefly exchanged gunfire with the suspect, who discharged his handgun. There were no injuries.
The suspect, identified as Harland Ramon Johnson, 22, was taken into custody. He was charged with Discharge of a Firearm from a Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphilia.
Johnson was booked into Brevard County Jail without bond.
In compliance with Titusville Department policy, an internal investigation is reportedly being completed.
