Three dead, three seriously injured after head-on Titusville crash

Three people were killed and three others were seriously injured on Monday from a head-on crash in Titusville, according to the Titusville Police Department. 

At about 10:30 p.m. on Monday, police say that they responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries involving two vehicles. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 1986 Oldsmobile was traveling southbound on South Park Avenue at Bell Terrace. Witnesses say it was traveling at a high speed as it crossed the centerline and struck a Ford Explorer that was traveling northbound on South Park Avenue. 

Police went on to say that two of the three occupants of the Oldsmobile were ejected. 50-year-old William Levarn Davis, 44-year-old Zyphria Derick Watts, and 41-year-old Calvin Williams were pronounced dead on scene.

The driver and occupants of the Ford Explorer were reportedly hospitalized with serious injuries. Their names are 30-year-old Miriam Bittner, 30-year-old Lynne Wells, and 38-year-old Amanda Walkington. 

South Park Avenue was closed for several hours.
