The best of the Steve Harvey, Miss Universe memes

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Just kidding, Miss Colombia. You’re not actually Miss Universe; Miss Philippines is.

It’s more or less what Steve Harvey said moments after he accidentally crowned the wrong contestant as the winner of the 2015 Miss Universe pageant Sunday night in Las Vegas.

It was awkward, of course, as Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, had to remove the crown from her head and hand it over to the true winner of the pageant- who was initially announced as the runner up- Pia Alonzo Wurzbach of the Philippines.

And as to be expected, the internet has yet to allow the moment to pass. Memes poking fun at the massive mix-up flooded the Twittersphere overnight and Monday morning, making Steve Harvey and Miss Universe two of the top trending topics.
