Teachers union asks candidates to get teachers a bump in pay

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Florida Education Association is working to get teachers a bump in pay.

The Statewide Teachers Union says that it is asking legislative and gubernatorial candidates to pledge support for state budgets which would raise salaries for teachers. 

They are hoping to reach national averages by 2023.
