Petition to delay in-person classes in Florida

One teacher is on a mission to stop Florida schools from reopening in August. She has launched a Change.org petition and its gaining support.

BRADENTON, Fla. - One Florida teacher isn't too keen on reopening schools. She started a petition to try and stop in-person classes until the pandemic is contained. 

The petition is signed by parents and teachers who say they just don't feel safe sending their children back to school in-person.

Dianne Dawson is a first-grade teacher in Manatee County and a mother to an incoming second-grader, and she is on a mission.
