Teacher accused of having sex with 15-year-old girl

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Seminole County teacher is behind bars accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.

Jaclyn Truman turned herself in to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday.

Deputies say she had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student at Hagerty High School for two months, starting in March 2016.

Truman was working as a long-term substitute at the school.

The victim told deputies that the relationship was consensual.

Truman was working most recently at Lake Howell High School, but was placed on administrative leave on October 4.
