NASA preparing to send next crewed mission to ISS

NASA is navigating new challenges with another crewed mission. Crew 8 is set to lift off from Kennedy Space Center on Friday, March 1, at 12:04 a.m.

SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Tuesday morning.

Liftoff was set for 10:30 a.m.

This is the 11th flight for the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched CRS-26, OneWeb Launch 16, Intelsat IS-40e, O3b mPOWER, Ovzon 3, and five Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, the first stage landed on the "Just Read the Instructions" droneship, which is stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, officials said.
