Search underway for father who broke into home, took daughter by force
HILLSBOROUGH CO., Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding two children who they said was taken by their father.
According to the sheriff's office Facebook page, Tawfik Hart broke into a home where his 8-year-old daughter, Janessa Hart, was staying, shoved someone out of the way and took her.
Deputies say he also took his 10-month-old son, Tawfik Hart, Jr., with him.
"The children are not believed to be in any danger and there is no court ordered restrictions against Hart with regards to his children."
Hart is described as a black male, 5 foot 7 inches and weighing 194 pounds. He may be driving a white 2008 Cadillac Deville with a red roof with the Georgia tag RMV7486.
Deputies believe he may be headed to Tifton, Georgia.
