Sea plane goes down at Lake Apopka
A sea plane had gone down near the area of Lake Apopka late Saturday morning.
Orange County Fire Rescue says the pilot reported to be in distress while in flight.
According to Apopka police there was a brief search for the plane after it went down.
Orange County Fire Rescue located the plane on South Lake Apopka.
Police say the pilot was not injured.
The Federal Aviation Authority and Environmental Protection Agency both have been notified.
