School district: Substitute teacher accused of molestation worked at 9 different schools

New developments after a local substitute teacher is accused of inappropriately touching students. Police now saying he worked at nine different Central Florida schools. 

School officials say he worked at 7 elementary and 2 middle schools over the last two months including Mill Creek Elementary. They're asking parents to talk to their children and come forward if there are more victims. 



 

Osceola school board members are very concerned as investigators search for more children who were allegedly molested by Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher. The 19-year-old is in jail with no bond after investigators say 6 young girls from Boggy Creek Elementary came forward saying he touched them inappropriately.

Police say he admitted that 2 months ago, he touched another child at Flora Ridge Elementary but he didn't remember her name.  

“Also he later advised he touched another child a Mill Creek and told me he only touched 5 children,” said officials.

The Osceola school district says Asher also worked at Central Avenue, Flora Ridge, Ventura, Pleasant Hill, Kissimmee and Mill Creek Elementary schools and Kissimmee and Parkway middle schools.

“We are hoping that parents talk to their children and if there are any victims - if they would come forward to school district or to law enforcement,” said Osceola school district spokesperson Dana Schafer.

School officials are reaching out to parents at all 9 schools and say they'll make sure affected families get support.

Officers are working to find out if there are even more victims.
