Robbery suspect caught after chase ends in crash
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Orange County Sheriff's Office has arrested a robbery suspect after deputies say he robbed a man at gunpoint.
Detectives say the victim thought someone needed help after spotting a broken down car at Palm Lake and Dr. Phillips, but it turns out it was a ploy to lure the victim.
Deputies say the victim was robbed and the suspect drove off, but chased after the suspect, before the two eventually crashed at Conroy Road and Dr. Phillips.
The suspect got away, but was arrested a short time later hiding on the back porch of a nearby home.
