RECALL ALERT: Kraft Heinz recalls Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese Dip over botulism risk

Kraft Heinz is pulling its Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese Dip from store shelves due to a possible botulism risk.

Approximately 7,000 case of the cheese dip are being recalled.

The company says no consumer complaints have been reported at this time.

Anyone who purchased the cheese dip should not eat it and should return it to the store where they purchased it for an exchange or full refund.

Botulism is a potentially fatal form of food poisoning that can cause weakness, dizziness, double vision, and trouble with speaking or swallowing, the company said in a press released. Difficulty breathing, muscle weakness, abdominal distension and constipation may also be symptoms. The company urges anyone experiencing these problems to seek medical attention.
