Police search for man who grabbed teen

Orlando police officers are warning parents to be on the lookout after a strange man touched a student as she walked to school.  Orlando police say a man touched a teenager as she was walking to school along Bowen Drive.  It happened at around 6:15 in the morning on November 9.  "Hispanic male said, 'Good morning' to her and then grabbed her buttocks as she walked by," explained Sgt Wanda Ford.

When the teenager arrived to Acceleration Academy High School, investigators say she reported it to administrators. Now cops are trying to find out if this man has been bothering others. "We're always concerned any time someone preys on a young victim, especially near the schools."

For neighbors along Bowen Drive it's worrisome.  Damarius Rodriguez says, "It's very scary you know.  I got grandkids they go to elementary school and I'd hate to see anything happen. Rubbing and touching should be a no no." Joesf Maier agrees, saying, "That's scary, that makes you not want to let your kids play outside."

Police say the suspect is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and in his mid 20s. The suspect was last seen wearing a light blue polo shirt and dark blue jeans.  Sgt Ford says, "If they recognize him, even if it's very minute please don't hesitate to call, because you never know."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
