Police: Man arrested, exposes himself to teens

Authorities arrested a man Thursday after they said he exposed himself to two middle school students earlier this month.

The incident happened on March 15 in the Turner Square Plaza in Palm Bay. According to police, the two victims were on their way to Southwest Middle School when Michael Anson Benjamin, 37, exposed himself.

The students quickly ran towards the school and alerted authorities. After further investigation, police were able to identify Benjamin's vehicle.

During a routine traffic stop, officers questioned Benjamin about the incident and he confessed to the crime. Police are asking anyone with information or who may have experienced a similar encounter with Benjamin to please call Detective J. Smith of the Palm Bay Police Department, Special Victims Unit, at 321-952-3463.
