Police: Fatal crash into parked semi shuts down road in Cocoa

COCOA, Fla. - A major road in Cocoa was shut down on Tuesday morning following a fatal crash. 

The Cocoa Police Department says that State Road 524 eastbound was closed just east of Friday Road. 

According to authorities, a vehicle crashed into a parked semi-tractor trailer around 5 a.m. resulting in a fatality.
