Pilot OK after crash, fire in Apopka
APOPKA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Scary moments for a pilot aboard a small plane landing at Orlando-Apopka Airport on Saturday.
Police say wind turbulence caused the plane to shift in the air, hitting its propeller on a tree.
The impact started an engine fire.
Luckily, investigators say only the pilot was on board and sustained minor injuries.
