Person transported to ORMC after possible gator bite at Barnett Park

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A person has been transported to the hospital after a possible gator bite at Barnett Park. 

The Orange County Fire Rescue says that units responded to Barnett Park for a possible gator bite after an man went into the water to retrieve an object.

They say that the patient was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center as Basic Life Support. He has non-life threatening injuries. 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission was on scene searching for the gator involved.
