Owners overjoyed after lost dog is found
OCOEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A police officer rescued a lost dog, taking him back to his owner.
A pug named Orbit was returned to its owners after disappearing for a bit in the dark last week.
"Oh, my god! Can I please give you a hug?," the owner asked an Ocoee police officer. "Definitely!" he replied.
When Orbit went missing, Regina Felts started searching frantically, because he is old and has health problems. He would not have lasted in the elements, she said. So she took to social media. Soon after posting, she said the officer drove down their street.
"He said, 'My wife sent me a text and said if you are not busy go up to Forest Oaks and see if you can find this pug,' and he did!" she explained.
Orbit was located about three streets away from his home.
