Osceola County deputies search for attempted armed robbery suspects

Deputies are searching for an attempted robbery suspect that broke into an Osceola County jewelry store.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office says that their deputies responded to Aldo Jewelry on Fortune Retail Circle in reference to a report of an attempted robbery.

They say that the victim said a black male, wearing a black mask and gloves, violently forced his way into the business just as his wife was entering the store. The male threw his wife to the ground and pointed a handgun at him, demanding money and jewelry. However, the victim's shop was not set up and open for business yet, so the victim had nothing to give. Once the suspect realized there was no money or jewelry, he left the store and entered a gray Kia Forte (2009-2013 model). The vehicle fled and headed towards St. Cloud.
