Orlando PM Weather Forecast: December 9, 2025
It's been dreary and chilly across Central Florida for our Tuesday. Meteorologist T.J. Springer lets us know when see our next cold front move in and when temperatures rebound.
ORLANDO, Fla. - It's been a chilly, somewhat grey Tuesday in Central Florida and that looks to continue into overnight.
We'll see some peeks of stars getting through the clouds but overall, it'll be mainly cloudy.
Tuesday night forecast
What To Expect:
This is thanks to an upper-level disturbance trailing behind the cold frontal passage. It'll push east across Florida tonight with lows falling back into the lower to middle 50s throughout the metro.
Our NW locales will be chillier, dipping into the middle to upper 40s.
Pleasant weather the rest of the week
Looking Ahead:
A ridge of high pressure builds in briefly for midweek which looks to bring a little more sunshine to the area. Temperatures also appear to warm up as a result. Highs look to be closer to average for this time of year, with expected readings back into the lower to middle 70s.
Another cold front looks to approach Orlando on Wednesday night, but it's not looking to bring much if any rain. A sprinkle is possible, but chances are slim.
The rest of this week will be quite pleasant, even with a few cooler days thrown into the mix.
We look to stay mostly dry by the end of the work week with temperatures slowly warming to near the mid 70s by the end of the work week.
Thursday/Thursday night will feature the passing dry cold front. While it won't bring any rain to the region, it will help to briefly bring an increase in clouds and along with another cold morning.
Temperatures will dip down into the 40s and 50s for lows come Friday morning.
By this weekend, temperatures will bounce back in a big way. Afternoon highs will reach the middle 70s. This will be ahead of our next wave of a few stray showers (20%) on Sunday.
We'll hold onto those slim chances on Monday as the cold front gets through the region. Temps early next week drop back into the lower 70s under plenty of sunshine.
