Police dig in Orlando backyard during search tied to missing woman

Orlando police spent hours executing a search warrant Wednesday at a home in the Paramore neighborhood, digging through a backyard as part of an ongoing investigation near where a woman was last seen months ago.

A large police presence was outside a Parramore home where a missing Florida woman was last seen in 2023.

A forensic team from the Florida Gulf Coast University Human Identity and Trauma Analysis unit was assisting the Orlando Police Department in conducting a warrant search at a residence on Lee Ave. on Tuesday afternoon.

What we know:

Teams worked for roughly 12 hours, sifting through dirt and collecting items as evidence, according to police.

A 32-year-old woman – reported missing in November 2023 – was last seen at this home.

A forensic unit was seen digging into a grass area outside a Parramore home.

Police were looking for assistance in locating Robertyne Sulfranc, who was described as having brown hair, brown eyes and being five feet two inches tall.

What we don't know:

A forensic unit was seen digging in a grassy area outside the home. It's not known what the unit was searching for.

Orlando Police confirmed the agency was conducting a search warrant, but did not confirm any connection to Sulfranc's case.

The team left the residence around 4:20 p.m. Caution tape surrounding the residence was removed.
