Orlando Police release composite sketch of attempted robbery suspect

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Orange County deputies need the public's help to track down a man who tried to rob a woman after crawling through her open window.

Deputies say the incident happened back on Oct. 14 at the Park 9 Apartments, near East Colonial Drive and North Econlockhatchee Trail, but they are now releasing a composite sketch of the suspect.

Deputies say a woman was taking an afternoon nap in her apartment when she woke up to a crashing sound and a man coming through her window holding an unknown object.

Investigators say the woman screamed and ran out of her bedroom, and locked herself in another room and called 911.

Deputies say anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office, or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
