A man accused of murdering his wife four months ago is now sitting behind bars. He is expected to step before a judge on Thursday.

David Tronnes was arrested Wednesday afternoon and is charged with murdering his wife Shanti Cooper-Tronnes in their Delaney Park home back in April. David is behind bars at the Orange County Jail. The victim's family says they are happy that they are finally seeing justice.

The victim's grandmother says that "I never knew they weren't getting along. The only one that ever said anything about them not getting along was Jackson." Jackson is the victim's 8-year-old son.

Her grandmother also says that Shanti was a successful businesswoman who owned her own consulting company and was worth a small fortune.

David Tronnes is expected to make his first appearance before a judge on Thursday. He is charged with first-degree murder.
