Orlando City Council approves $1.1M for the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer tweeted on Tuesday morning that City Council has approved $1.1 million in funding for the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida.
According to the tweet , this money will go towards rental assistance for homeless individuals as they transition to permanent supportive housing. Dyer says that this assistance plays a critical role in the Housing First initiative.
