Orange County fire chief resigning in May
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Orange County fire chief announced on Monday that he is resigning at the end of May.
Chief Otto Drozd III said it "has been an honor and privilege to serve" the county.
Mayor Jerry Demings said he appreciates the chief's service and named Deputy Chief Jim Fitzgerald as his replacement.
Chief Drozd's last day will be May 31.
