Officials locate 2 missing children in Sumter County

    • Officials were searching for two missing children before safely locating them.
    • The pair were last seen in the area of CR 466 and NE 62nd Ter.
    • Both juveniles were last seen around 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. - Officials with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office were seeking the public's assistance in finding two children they said went missing on Sunday night before later finding them.

Deputies said that 12-year-old and the 16-year-old were last seen Sunday night around 7:45 p.m. in the area of CR 466 and NE 62nd Ter.

The pair wer safely located after a couple hours, according to deputies. 

Sumter County
