Windows smashed at an Orlando apartment complex. Deputies said four suspects broke into more than a dozen cars.

Car owners came out to see a mess outside of their cars with windows shattered. All they could do was clean it up and patch up their window-less doors.

“I literally just woke up,” Maria Sanabria said.

Her car now covered with broken shards of glass from where burglars broke in through her window.

“They didn’t take anything,” Sanabria said. “My house keys were in there and they didn’t take them. They didn’t go through my car.”

Nothing was taken from her, except her sense of security.

“Now it’s scary,” she said.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said 13 car windows were smashed right before four suspects were spotted fleeing the Woodlands Apartment complex just before 3 a.m. in a dark vehicle.

It’s a crime hitting the neighborhood hard.

“I’m really surprised about something happening here because this is a quiet community,” Pedro Gonzalez said. “Good neighborhood you know. I don’t know what’s going on.”

Now the victims are left to clean up and shell out cash for expensive repairs.

“I checked,” Gonzalez said. “I probably have to pay $300 for the window.”

“I don’t even know how to get this fixed,” Sanabria said.
