Meals on Wheels volunteer turns 100

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Florida woman celebrated her 100th birthday by taking a trip on a hot air balloon.

Peggy Grundy is the oldest volunteer for Central Florida Meals on Wheels, having delivered meals around Seminole County since 1983. Her friends and family surprised her by taking her to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort, for a hot air balloon ride.  She also offered her advice for living a long and happy life.

"Just be yourself! That's what I do," she said. "And coffee! I love coffee, and I drink lots of it!"

Grundry said she is already planning her 101st birthday, to include a trip on a submarine.
