Man who says he shot teen who tried to rob him charged with manslaughter
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - An Orange County man is accused of killing a teenager but according to his wife, it was self-defense.
Curtis Fulcher is charged with manslaughter.
Police say Fulcher and his wife tried to sell an i-Phone to 16-year-old Denim Williams and Deandra Florence back in January.
They say the two planned to rob the couple.
"He snatches the phone from my husband and goes for his waistband,” Fulcher’s wife said. “My husband grabs his firearm and exits the car. I'm terrified. So I literally pull off.”
Fulcher has a bond hearing this Friday morning. Florence is charged with second degree murder.
