Man injured after tree fell on him in Ormond Beach

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Ormond Beach police say a man was injured when a tree fell on him.

It happened on Arroyo Parkway on Sunday afternoon.

Police say two people were moving furniture when the tree fell.

They say a thunderstorm was happening at the same time.

Investigators say James Allen, 56, was taken to the hospital, after the tree hit him on the head.

A neighbor says she heard a loud bang, ran outside and started giving Allen CPR.

She says when she found him, his head was bloody and he wasn't breathing.

Officials say the second person suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene.
