Man accused of shooting at George Zimmerman in court
Matthew Apperson is accused of shooting at George Zimmerman in May 2015.
SEMINOLE COUNTY - The man accused of shooting at George Zimmerman is due back in court this morning for a docket hearing. The hearing will make sure the case is on track for trial.
Matthew Apperson was arrested, accused of shooting at Zimmerman in Lake Mary in May of 2015. Zimmerman said he and Apperson have had a series of run-ins in the past. Apperson stated one of the reasons for the hostility comes from Zimmerman being found "not guilty" in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
