Lockdown lifted at Leesburg High after person reported with gun, deputies say
LEESBURG, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Leesburg High School went on lockdown Wednesday morning after someone was possibly spotted with a gun, deputies say.
According to a tweet send out by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the school due to an "anonymous complaint about someone possibly being armed on or near the campus."
Officials have confirmed that no weapon was found.
