During the month of November, U.S. veterans and active duty members can visit Legoland Florida for free, among other perks.

Officials with the Winter Haven theme park said they will honor those individuals with free admission, free parking, and 50 percent off tickets for up to six guests. Also, they will offer 25 percent off overnight stays at the resort.

“It’s our way of saying thank you to the men and women who have served in the U.S. armed forces,” according to a park statement.

In order to qualify for the discount, a valid military ID or proof of veteran status must be shown at the Legoland ticket windows and parking toll plaza on the day of their visit. Discounted overnight stays can be booked online at: www.legoland.com/veterans.

On Veterans Day, which falls on Sunday, November 11, additional discounts will be available to veterans including: 10 percent discount on retail, food and beverage purchases; A free second photo with the purchase of a first photo; and two plays for the price of one on skills games.
